Jessica Palma was an outstanding tennis player who represented her State (LARA) and Country (VENEZUELA) in many opportunities, managing to occupy the number 1 position in the Venezuelan National Ranking in categories 12, 14 and 16 years

She made up the Venezuelan National Tennis team in the South American Tennis Championship in categories 12 years old made in Santa Cruz – Bolivia remaining Finalist, she repeated it at the age of 14 in Lima – Peru, achieving fifth position. At the age of 16 she managed to represent  Venezuela again in the South American Tennis Championship made in Montevideo – Uruguay as the country’s number 1 racket, achieving the 5th position.

 She played de COSAT Tournament Tour around South America getting the  position number 2 in the ranking of single and the position number 2 in the ranking of doubles in the category 16 years old (South American Tennis Confederation). 

Some of her best results on the Tour:

• Champion (Singles and Doubles) Valencia – Venezuela.

• Finalist (singles) Semifinalist (doubles) Cali Colombia
• Semifinalist (singles and doubles) Quito Ecuador
• Champion in Banana Bowl (doubles) and quarterfinal (singles) Sao Paulo – Brazil

She represented the COSAT team in the European Tennis Tour .

she was part of the Venezuelan Billie Jean King Cup ( Fed Cup) Team in 2004 made in Bahia Brazil. She received recognition as an athlete of the year in 2004. 

In 2008 she founded PALMATENIS in Barquisimeto- Venezuela at the age of 19, dedicating herself fully to the training of players; she managed to form very good players who achieved the top positions in the ranking of the State of Lara and the Country. Many of them managed to obtain university scholarships in the United States. 

In 2009 she joined the Gacelas Rugby Club team playing in the positions of (Wing, Centre and Prop) where they managed to obtain several National Finals and Championships. Receives recognition as Top Scorer of the Sevens de las Flores Tournament held at the Andres Bello Catholic University. UCAB .

In 2010-2011, she made up the rugby 7 team from Venezuela, representing her country in the South American Championship held in Brazil and in the Club World Cup held in Cordoba Argentina. 

In 2010 she represented the Fermin Toro University Tennis Team in the JUVINES (National University Games) obtaining a silver medal in mixed doubles.

At the end of 2010, she created a Palmitas Community Tennis School Foundation in Barquisimeto Venezuela, where they taught tennis in low-income areas with the aim of massifying the sport

In 2011 she began her foray into the Beach Tennis Discipline, obtaining numerous State and National Championships.

In 2014 she was the Captain Coach of the 10-year-old Team in the most important Tournament in Venezuela The national team represented by the Lara State, where 2 of the 3 players that made up the team were trained in PALMATENIS obtaining the National Championship.

In 2016 she was the Captain Coach of the 12-year-old Team in the most important Tournament in Venezuela The national Team represented by the Lara State, where 2 of the 3 players that made up the team were formed in PALMATENIS obtaining the National Sub-Championship.

In June 2019 she decided to dedicate herself to playing the Professional Beach Tennis Circuit, starting in the 1000 position of the world ranking and in less than 3 months she managed to position herself in position 139 in the world, achieving two Championships in Portugal and several Semifinals in France .

In October 2019 the promotion and development of Beach Tennis began in Oman, being PALMATENIS the pioneers in making the sport known in the Arab country in addition to promoting Tennis Tournaments for adults.

In October 2020 Palmatenis officially opens in Dubai at the Dubai Ladies Club, developing Tennis programs for children and adults, focusing on promoting the sport in the Emirate community.

In December 2020 she participates in the First International Beach Tennis Tournament held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, reaching two Finals and crowning in one of them Champion in Mixed Doubles and Finalist in Women’s Doubles .

In December 2020 she began her career as a padel player, obtaining excellent results, achieving several championships and reaching Finals and Semifinals.

In March 2021 she begins to teach padel tennis classes at Padel 26 in Dubai and to bring all the expirience and knowledge to this sport and discipline.

In November 2021, the Women’s Tennis Tournament began in Dubai with the support of the United Arab Emirates Tennis Federation, Sport Council and Dubai Ladies Club where its main focus is the participation of Emirati Women in this Discipline, being a pioneer in This type of event in the United Arab Emirates, where it has been very successful having players from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman among others.

In October 2023, she was called to be part of the firts Women’s Padel Team in Venezuela Competing in the Pan American Padel Absolute that was held in Caracas – Venezuela, achieving 5th position.

In April 2024, she began participating in Professional Padel Tournaments (FIP) where she reached the semifinal in the tournament that was held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates and was mentioned as one of the most outstanding players of the week in the Premier Padel Ranking for having gone from position 852 to 364 in the world.

In March 2024 she got her best Pofessional Padel Ranking 340 in the World.

Jessica Palma has been a multifaceted athlete standing out in four different sports disciplines, Tennis, Rugby 7 , Beach Tennis and Padel forming part of the Venezuelan National Team in (Tennis, Rugby 7 and Padel) and Pre Selection of Venezuelan Beach Tennis Team.

She is Tennis Coach Level 3 ITF, Beach Tennis Coach and Padel Coach with 17 years of experience Directing PALMATENIS.

It should also be noted that she is currently dedicated as a player in the Professional Padel competition through the FIP (International Padel Federation) occupying the 340 position in the World Ranking in 2024.
